A popular food truck, Viva La Waffle chicken and waffle food service opened a brick and mortar to keep up with the high demand of patrons! J Design Interiors was hired to transform a previous bar and restaurant into Viva’s new home. With the concept of underground ping pong hangout, dark colors, industrial materials such as zinc and plywood, mixed with pops of solid red tile were incorporated into the space. Ceilings were opened up in the dining space and the ordering area ceiling is wrapped in raw plywood. The space turned out funky and cool just like the menu.
