I have always been drawn to art and design. Working for my Dad in men’s fashion, building custom suits and clothing helped me to appreciate the beauty behind quality pieces and how the attention to detail makes for good design.
Taking this passion for design, I earned a bachelor’s degree of interior design in 2011, then worked for an interior designer specializing in healthcare and commercial projects. Gaining tons of experience in commercial design, yet missing the chance to work with residential clients, I left to start my own firm.
J Design Interiors was established in 2014. I find joy in layering design through lighting, furniture and art. What I find most rewarding in my career is working with my clients to solve design challenges and create the perfect timeless space for their home or business.

Justine is an avid runner and enjoys racing half-marathons!
In over a decade of experience, Justine leads J Design Interiors through design and project management. With an eye for spatial layouts and layering of elements, Justine works diligently with clients to provide the most functional, timeless, beautiful spaces. Justine has experience in commercial projects ranging in corporate, healthcare, education and government sectors.
She also has experience in residential projects, with specialties in renovations. Working with clients to not only meet their needs, but provide the best design for their project in the future is the most rewarding part of her work. Justine has also spent several years as a visiting assistant professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette teaching several architecture and interior design courses.
Justine’s passions outside of interior design are spending time with her husband, Henri, her boys, Henri Jr. and Jean-Luc, and pup, Georgia.

Originally from Natchitoches, Louisiana, Caroline moved to Lafayette for her education. Caroline earned her bachelor of interior design from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2020. Caroline assists with selections, managing projects, and meeting with clients. She goes the extra mile for our clients through her diligence and extra care for each project.

Caroline has dual citizenship in the United States and Belgium, where her mother is from!
With a background in office management in the legal and oil and gas industry, Peggy keeps the office organized as well as manages behind the scenes work tasks. Peggy is originally from Lafayette, a University of Louisiana graduate, and mom to Justine! When Peggy is not in the office, she is assisting her husband, Frank with their men’s clothing store.

Derek earned his bachelor and master of architecture from the University of Louisiana. His drafting skills support the firm by creating detailed drawings that benefit the contractor and the client. Derek’s enthusiasm towards projects transfers to his attention to detail and ease of working with our team and clients.

Madi is originally from Carencro, Louisiana. Her talents come naturally as creates content for J Design Interiors social media and marketing. Her ability allows for our projects to shine as well as give a glimpse of what happens to make these projects come alive. Madi is currently in school pursuing a degree in marketing.
