A large expansion to an existing 60,000 SF building, this 210,000 SF expansion created a proper campus for a growing company. This project allowed for all departments to be located within one campus, and also allowed for the rapid growth the company experienced. J Design Interiors was hired to select all finishes, furniture and signage selections. Furniture highlights include a total redesign of how the employees work in the space. Private office furniture was reconfigured to a linear orientation, allowing for more floor space to also hold small meetings with staff and not take up a large meeting room. Every workstation has an adjustable height desk, promoting full adjustability of the user’s work preference.
We reconfigured the work habits to have open office layouts for focus work and an “amenity” building that connects the 3 work buildings to accommodate dining, training and facilities spaces. The dining space includes a 3-story atrium with the founder, Ginger Myers, motto, “It’s all about helping people”. Meeting spaces were redesigned to offer different functions based on the setting of the meeting. Focus rooms were also placed on each level for quiet work or a place for employees to take personal calls, etc. State of the art lighting was incorporated, with high quality LED’s for clear visual ability, and automatic adjustment based on natural lighting conditions. The details that were brought into this project show based on the efficiency and happiness levels employees are sharing.
